Hot Fudge Recipe

Easy and delicious in the microwave!

Cut a quarter of a box (3 ounces) of fudge into small pieces about a half inch square. This amount is good for about 2 servings. We suggest Extra Dark Chocolate for a richer chocolate flavor, or combining Extra Dark and regular Chocolate fudge for a milder taste.

Place into a microwave-safe bowl. Add 3 to 4 tablespoons of cream … heavy or half and half.

Microwave gently until the fudge softens but before it bubbles. We suggest 10 seconds, stir, then another 10 seconds if needed, but it depends on your microwave and the amount. Stir the cream into the soft fudge until it’s well blended. Heat a bit more if needed.

And that’s it! Spoon over vanilla ice cream, or any other flavor you love. Drizzle over strawberries or another fresh fruit. So good!

You can double the recipe (use half a box of fudge) easily if you have a crowd … or if EVERYONE wants more!

Add a dash of grown-up flavor with a splash of Kahlua, Grand Marnier, Cointreau or Dark Rum after the fudge is heated. Or add cinnamon, dried/grated orange peel or ginger to spice up your hot fudge. It’s fun to experiment with flavors!
